Challenging the Narrative. Documenting the Reality.
Our mission is to provide an unfiltered, evidence-based look at the actions of the Israeli Defense Forces.
The Power of a Narrative
For decades, the phrase "the most moral army in the world" has been a cornerstone of Israeli state public relations. It is a powerful and effective tool designed to deflect criticism, justify military operations, and shape international perception. This narrative suggests a military that operates under a uniquely high ethical code, holding itself to standards above all others.
This project was born from the growing chasm between this official branding and the documented reality on the ground. We believe that public discourse, especially on matters of war and human rights, must be grounded in verifiable facts, not state-sponsored messaging.
Our Approach: An Evidence-Based Archive
Our methodology is simple: we compile, categorize, and present visual evidence that speaks for itself. The collection consists of videos and images, with a significant portion being content filmed and proudly shared online by Israeli soldiers themselves. These are not clips from third-party news organizations; they are firsthand, unfiltered glimpses into the conduct and culture within the military.
This content often documents:
- The systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure, including homes, schools, and mosques.
- The humiliation and abuse of detained and captive Palestinians.
- Acts of mockery, vandalism, and looting in private homes.
- Actions that appear to directly contravene the stated rules of engagement and international humanitarian law.
By centralizing this evidence, we aim to create an undeniable public record that can be used by researchers, journalists, human rights organizations, and the general public.
Our Goal: Truth, Transparency, and Accountability
We are not activists in the traditional sense; we are archivists. Our ultimate goal is to hold a mirror up to the IDF and its supporters, reflecting back the images they themselves have created. We seek to:
- Create a Public Record: To build a permanent, accessible archive that cannot be easily dismissed or erased from social media platforms.
- Foster Honest Conversation: To encourage a global dialogue that moves beyond slogans and examines the evidence directly.
- Promote Accountability: By showcasing the actions of soldiers and commanders, we hope to contribute to a climate where accountability is not just possible, but expected.
A Note on Our Position
This project is a critique of the actions and policies of a state military. It is not an attack on any religion, ethnicity, or people. We stand firmly against all forms of racism, including both antisemitism and Islamophobia. Our focus is solely on the documented conduct of the Israeli Defense Forces and its alignment—or lack thereof—with its own moral branding and the established standards of international law.
